Day 2 - Arusha to Tarangire National Park
You will be picked up from your Arusha hotel at 8:00am and then drive to Tarangire National Park for three hours. You will go on a full-day game drive inside the park and then make your way to the Fanaka Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Tarangire National Park is located 115km from Arusha. The park gets its name from the Tarangire River, where the animals congregate to drink. This park is characterized by large herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions, and fascinating baobab trees. The baobab is sometimes referred to as the “tree of life” due to the mythical powers that some cultures ascribe to it.

Day 3 - Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we will head towards Serengeti National Park via the beautiful, high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa: Serengeti National Park, whose endless plains roll into the distance as far as the eye can see. Next, we will make our way to the central park area known as Seronera. The Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and attracts most of the animal species found in the Serengeti. We will arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park.

Day 4 - Serengeti National Park Migration Tour
You will wake up early and have a full breakfast before starting your game drive inside Serengeti. We will ensure that you follow the wildebeest migration during your time with us.
The time of the annual Great Migration varies every year. The best chance of seeing it is from June to September, as the wildebeest calving season is from January to March. From July to September, your driver can take you to the northern Serengeti to watch the wildebeest crossing the Mara River. A million and a half wildebeest travel throughout the year as they look for fresh grazing pasture and follow the rainfall for better water sources. After your full-day game drive, you will return to your accommodations for dinner and your overnight stay.
