Day 1 - Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha at 8:30 AM and drive to Tarangire National Park (2-3 hours). Spend the afternoon on an exciting full-day game drive spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo around the Tarangire River. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park. In the evening, transfer to your budget lodge or campsite in Karatu for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2 - Ngorongoro Crater then Arusha
Start early with breakfast, then drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a 5-6 hour game drive. Witness the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos), plus hippos, hyenas, and thousands of flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool. After an afternoon of wildlife viewing, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha, arriving by evening. Optional drop-off at Kilimanjaro Airport available.
