Arrive in Maun, where you are met at Maun Airport by our guide Fred. From here, you transfer by open-sided 4x4 safari vehicle into the wilderness en-route to your mobile camp in the Okavango Delta.

On arrival at camp, you are welcomed and shown to your tents before settling in and relaxing after the journey. Later, enjoy a short guided walk around the campsite to familiarize yourself with the surroundings and nearby wildlife activity. Dinner is served around the fire under open skies.

Start the day with a traditional mokoro excursion, gliding silently through papyrus-lined channels of the Okavango Delta. Your poler interprets animal tracks, bird calls, and aquatic ecosystems along the way.
Expect sightings of reed frogs, kingfishers, elephants crossing channels, and possibly sitatunga in dense reed beds.
Return to camp for brunch and rest during the heat of the day. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided nature walk on nearby islands, focusing on tracking and plant identification. Dinner at camp.

A full day is spent exploring deeper waterways by mokoro and on foot, moving quietly through the Okavango Delta’s intricate network of channels and islands. The emphasis is on slow travel and careful observation listening for bird calls, reading tracks in the sand, and learning how wildlife uses this seasonal landscape.

Lunch is enjoyed on a shaded island, surrounded by reeds and open water, offering a peaceful break in the middle of the Delta. In the late afternoon, you make your way back toward camp as wildlife becomes more active and the light softens over the waterways. An optional short sunset mokoro excursion is available before returning to camp for dinner around the fire.

After an early breakfast, you begin your transfer from the Delta waterways into the drier ecosystems of the Moremi Game Reserve.
The landscape gradually shifts from water channels to open floodplains and woodland. Game viewing begins en route with possible sightings of elephants, buffalo, zebra, and antelope.
Arrive at your mobile camp in Moremi in the late afternoon. Settle in and enjoy a campfire dinner in the heart of predator country.

Spend the day exploring the diverse habitats of the Moremi Game Reserve, widely regarded as one of Botswana’s richest wildlife areas and known for consistent predator activity. Morning and afternoon game drives take you through a changing landscape of open savannah, mopane woodland, and seasonal floodplains, each supporting different wildlife patterns and behaviour.

Encounters may include lions on the move, leopards resting in riverine trees, and depending on season African wild dogs in active pursuit. Large herds of elephant, buffalo, zebra, and giraffe are commonly seen, along with an impressive variety of birdlife throughout the day.

Return to camp for lunch and a rest during the heat of the day, allowing time to absorb the sounds and atmosphere of the bush. In the late afternoon, you head out again as temperatures cool and animal activity increases, continuing your game drive until sunset before returning to camp.

Another full day of game drives focuses on the more remote and less-travelled areas of the Moremi Game Reserve, offering a deeper sense of wilderness and fewer vehicle encounters. Your guide continuously adapts the route based on recent wildlife movements, tracking fresh signs and responding to changing conditions in the bush.

Optional stops are made at scenic lagoons and water edges, ideal for photography and quiet birdwatching, where herons, fish eagles, and kingfishers are often active. The pace remains unhurried, allowing time to fully absorb the surroundings.

You return to camp in the late afternoon for a relaxed final evening in the bush. As the sun sets, the day winds down with storytelling around the fire and a traditional safari dinner shared under the open sky.

Enjoy a final early morning guided walk around the campsite as the bush comes to life. This is a calm opportunity to take in the finer details of the wilderness fresh tracks, bird activity, and the sounds of the Delta at dawn offering a final moment of connection with the surroundings.

Return to camp for breakfast and time to relax before packing up. Afterwards, you depart by 4x4 transfer back to Maun, where you will be dropped off at Maun Airport by your guide, Fred, for your onward journey.
