This 10-day Rwandan adventure covers the best of the "Land of a Thousand Hills," featuring savannah game drives in Akagera, canopy walks and chimpanzees in Nyungwe Forest, and iconic gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. This itinerary combines wildlife, culture, and luxury, starting and ending in Kigali.

Day 1 - Arrival & Kigali City Tour
Arrive at Kigali International Airport, transfer to the Mille Collines Hotel, and check in.
Afternoon city tour including the Kigali Genocide Memorial to learn about Rwanda's history.

Day 2 - Transfer to Akagera National Park
Drive to Akagera National Park, enjoying the scenic landscapes. After checking into Mantis
Akagera Game Lodge, enjoy an afternoon boat ride on Lake Ihema to view crocodiles and
hippos.

Day 3 - Full Day Game Drive - Akagera
Full day exploring the savannah landscapes of Akagera, home to giraffes, buffalos, elephants,

Day 4 - Return to Kigali & City Tour
Morning drive back to Kigali. In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour to visit local markets and craft
shops.

Day 5 - Transfer to Nyungwe National Park via Nyanza/Huye
Transfer to Nyungwe National Park. Stop in Nyanza to visit the King’s Palace Museum to see
the Inyambo cows, then visit the Ethnographic Museum in Huye. Continue to Nyungwe Nziza
Eco Lodge for the night.

Day 6 - Chimpanzee Trekking & Canopy Walk
Early morning chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe Forest. In the afternoon, experience the thrilling
Canopy Walkway. Overnight at Nyungwe Nziza Eco Lodge.

Day 7 - Tea Tour & Lake Kivu Relaxation
Morning tea plantation tour, then transfer to Lake Kivu. Enjoy an evening boat ride and relax by
the beautiful Lake Kivu shores.

Day 8 - Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Transfer to Musanze, the base for Volcanoes National Park. Visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus

Day 9 - Gorilla Trekking & Iby’Iwacu Cultural Center
Early morning transfer for a briefing before Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. In the
afternoon, visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village to experience traditional Rwandan dance and
culture. Overnight at Tiroleza Eco Lodge.

Day 10 - Golden Monkey Trekking & Transfer to Kigali
Morning trekking to see the Golden Monkeys. Return to the lodge to check out and transfer back
to Kigali for your departure flight.
