The world’s largest inland delta, Okavango offers an epic wilderness experience, with a landscape that’s ripe to be explored on foot, by jeep or by canoe. Spanning over 17,000 sq km, it is the largest inland delta in the world and is fed by the Okavango River, which flows from the highlands of Angola.
With its intricate network of channels, lagoons and islands, it attracts a whole host of creatures and is home to elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, and over 400 species of bird. Exploring the delta on foot or by mokoro (traditional canoe) allows you to get up close and personal with the animals and experience the magic of this extraordinary place.
