1-Day Amboseli National Park Tour

Plan your safari around Amboseli National Park with season guidance, wildlife context, trusted tours, and real traveler reviews.
Two main ways to get to Amboseli are by road or air. And if you choose to go by road, you also have two options from Nairobi city, the capital of Kenya. You can either use the Kimana Gate to enter the park or the Meshanani Gate.
To use the Kimana Gate, you will use the Nairobi-Mombasa road via Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Park, which will take 8 hours. Even though this distance is longer, it's pretty rewarding, and the views are amazing.
The other route you can use is via Meshanani gate by road, which will take about 3 hours.
Aside from that, you can also access the park through local aircraft and land at Amboseli Airport. All these options will depend on your resources and the time you have to spend in Kenya.
