Ngorongoro Crater

Overview

 Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see in Tanzania. Located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the 600 flats walls of the crater floor are home to a large number of wildlife, making it one of the best game viewing spots in Africa. With breathtaking views of rolling savannah grasslands, diverse vegetation and a wealth of wildlife, Ngorongoro is an unforgettable safari destination.

The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is often referred to as 'The Eighth Wonder of the World'. Covering an area of 264 square kilometres, the crater floor is packed with a wide variety of wildlife, including rhino, hyena, elephants, zebra, lions and leopards.
