01 Depart from Arusha early afternoon and drive to Lake Manyara.
02 Morning game drive in Manyara Park National Park. After lunch, depart for Serengeti with game-viewing en route.
03 Morning and afternoon game drives.
04 Game drive en route to Olduvai Gorge. After a picnic lunch, continue to Ngorongoro Crater.

THE NORTHERN SOJOURN

For those seeking wildlife, culture and exploration, the Northern Sojourn ventures through the game-rich north. It combines Olduvai Gorge, Olmoti and Ngurdoto Craters and enjoys Tanzania's unique cultural experiences en route. The lodges used are all located in wonderful spots. Adding Lake Victoria's Rubondo Island or Spele Bay onto the end of this itinerary may give you the ultimate expedition. The itineraries may also operate in reverse.

09 A full-day excursion to Arusha National Park with a picnic lunch. As well as a guided walk, this will include a canoe safari on the beautiful Lake Momella in the hope of spotting buffalo, hippo, bushbuck and some splendid birds.
